Sailin' on the Serpentine

Well technically we paddle-boated, but that title was no where near as catchy.

Hanging out with Emily from Brown Eyed Girl, and taking advantage of summer starting, paddle boating on the Serpentine seemed like the natural thing to do!
Turns out that peddle boating is good for your glutes too! It was a little pricey at £10 for half an hour, but hey, that's London, right?

Afterwards we strolled along the river and saw a mamma swan with her cygnets enjoying the weather too.
Then we popped into The Serpentine Gallery, where Martino Gamper's Design is a State of Mind exhibition was on.
It was a curation exhibition of bits and bobs the artist had collected over the years... Interesting, and worth a look in if you're in the area, but not something I'd go out of my way to see.
And the perfect way to end the day? Bodean's and a Gelupo's gelato...
How did you enjoy the good weather this weekend?

Despite having lived in London for over half a decade, I have never been on the Serpentine! Must have been lovely in all this sun!
